Latest Technology
Digital and 3D CBCT
At Crown Dental, we use one of the latest digital X-ray systems- KAVO for precise and rapid investigation of your dentition using a minimum dose of radiation.

What can X-rays detect?
- Decay inside or in between teeth
- Bone loss
- Infection (abscess) around your tooth
- Root/ tooth position
- Impacted wisdom tooth
- Tumors/ Cysts
They are an important treatment planning tool for all kinds of dental treatments.
Potential risks of dental X-rays
Dental X-ray radiation exposure levels are so low that they are usually considered safe for all ages. We use digital X-rays instead of developing them on film, making your radiation exposure risk even lower.
Exactly how much radiation will I be exposed to during X-rays?
With technological advances in recent years, the exposure of localized or full-mouth digital X-ray has been reduced to that of normal cosmic exposure. For example, the amount of radiation you experience during a full-mouth X-ray is equivalent to the amount of radiation during a flight from Singapore to Hong Kong
Digital IntraOral Scanners
An intraoral scanner is a small, handheld device that captures a detailed 3D image of your mouth.
Scanners are used for:
- Orthodontic procedures
- Crowns & bridges
- Implant procedures
- Dentures
- Fabricating dental prosthetics

Benefits of digital scanner:
- Accurate dental impressions
- Reduced chair time
- Comfort
- Faster turnaround time
- Better patient experience
